Cori Stern | Child Behaviour Specialist

Hi there! I’m here to give you with the tools and strategies to best manage your child’s behaviour & success, at the different ages and stages of development. On a side note, I am a mom of 2 + 1 very big dog (so I guess that makes it 3). You can often catch me sporting a pair of cozy sweat pants- I take comfort over most things! I’m a sucker for the outdoors, and deep belly laughs. I’ve got lots more to share with you but we can make that happen as we connect and get to know each other :)

I’ve merged my backgrounds in Parenting, Child Study & Education, and Applied Behaviour Analysis to bring to you a very unique perspective on child growth & development. I have over 15 years of experience working in Education and Intensive Behaviour Intervention. I have worked with children of various exceptionalities and developmental disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder. I completed my undergraduate honours degree from the University of Toronto in Physical Health & Education. Following this, I attended the Dr. Eric Jackman Institute of Child Study at the University of Toronto. I attained my Masters Degree in Child Study & Education, while at the same time becoming a registered Teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers. So at this point, I just wasn’t ready to be done school so I decided to take another two years and study Applied Behaviour Analysis at the Florida Institute of Technology. That fuelled my clinical work in Intensive Behaviour Intervention, supporting families, both at home and school. I am currently a member of the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT), Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis (ONTABA) and the Association for Behaviour Analysis International (ABAI).

Erica Conway | Executive Functioning Coach

Meet Erica! She’s our resident Certified Executive Functioning & Life Coach. Erica is also an Ontario certified special education teacher, with over 15 years experience working with neurodiverse students both in and outside of the classroom. Erica has an M.S.E. in education and an ACC in youth life coaching.  Throughout her teaching career she has worked with a diverse population of students in a variety of classrooms and capacities, and helped them to achieve provincial standards and realize their goals. One of her deepest interests has always been in the hidden curriculum, and helping neurodiverse students to overcome and face challenges with executive functioning and life skills. These skills, while vital to school and life success, are often neglected and not directly taught in a traditional school curriculum. She is also a parent of a child with ADHD, and watched the struggle to work through these executive functioning and social skills challenges first hand. She understands the obstacles, frustrations and heartache that can occur in families with neurodiverse children, who are so often underserved in the school systems. Her life experience and passion for unlocking student potential lead her to become a Certified Executive Function & Life Coach, and a JST graduate at the ACC level. (ICF accreditation pending)

As a Coach, she have supported her clients to overcome challenges, embrace their differences and achieve their full potential. She works both with the child and the parent to empower neurodivergent youth.
